Dear Santa Claus,

It's been a very long time since I've written a letter to you. In fact, I think my last letter was written in Crayola Crayons with silver snowflakes and gold stars on top of my trees in the perfect pine green color... Maybe you remember it? me? I asked for a typewriter, a needlepoint kit, and nail polish. You made sure that they were under the tree on Christmas morning wrapped in red plaid paper with white ribbons and bows. Thank you.

This year, I'd like to ask you to deliver a few important things to a lot of people. You can put them under their Christmas tree or on their doorstep if you can't find a tree at their house. Please have the elves pack your sleigh with the following gifts, and tell Rudolph that he and his Reindeer team will need to eat extra carrots and apples for energy.

Here it is... I know you will do your best to put it all together before Christmas Eve 2015 gets here:

Healing for those who need it.

Help for those who want it.

Love for those who are brokenhearted.

Friends for those who are lonely.

Honesty for those who are deceitful.

Food for those who are hungry.

Strength for those who are weak.

Clarity for those who are confused.

Hope for those who are lost. 

Kindness for those who are mean.

Joy for those who are sad. 

Peace for those who are in turmoil.

Oh, and Santa? Remember that some people (probably a lot!) need a couple or three of these gifts to make them happy this holiday season and into the New Year.

This might be a late request but I'm mailing this letter in the "Santa" mailbox from NJ at a United States Post Office. Diane at the desk told me that every letter dropped into your mailbox goes by Overnight Delivery so they are sure to arrive at the North Pole in time. 

Good luck on your travels, and thanks for reading my letter, I hope my list makes people's lives better, brighter, and easier now and in the future. Also, I was thinking that you might want to stick to the gluten-free cookies this year.
