Gemstone of the Month: August's birthstone is the Peridot. It's color ranges from a deep, lime green to a light, yellowish-green. It is sometimes referred to as the Evening Emerald; and also known as, Olivine. Associated with good luck and the power to heal; it is believed that wearing Peridot helps to ward off evil.
