@suzyblujeanz: You are right, it is about the time element. It is important to analyze to whom we give our time, why, and what we share. The choice becomes more precious when we are selective in a positive way. Gratitude is a key factor, too...I think true friends feel it and reciprocate in kind.

Right on TJ!!! Our friends choose to share our lives with us and in turn share a part of themselves. It is the freedom of choice that propels these friendships to be some of the most caring, supportive and nurturing interactions. I am grateful for all my friends and for their choosing to share their time and lives with me.
