WOMB: Woman On a Mission in Business (Thank you for your interest, the WOMB search will resume in 2012)
As Here We Are grows, our mission to help busy women make their lives better, brighter, and easier, continues to bloom. If you are taking charge, setting trends, and pursuing your dreams while you help others, then the WOMB feature can help you. Don't be a shrinking violet, you don't have to run a multimillion dollar international corporation or be Mother Teresa, but you must have a mission.
The splintering of media into a multitude of avenues means every bit of exposure and attention counts these days. While we can't promise to make you a movie star, we can promise to portray you in a positive light by spotlighting your products, services, or knowledge, and the passion that drives your mission. It is our way of helping you run the world. We want to know about you, learn from you, and share your message with the world. Let HWA help you live your life out loud.
If you would like to be considered, or know of a woman in business who would benefit from being featured, please send an email to Luci [at] Here We Are With Luci [dot] com with subject line, WOMB. Tell us about yourself, your business, and include links so that we can get to know you.
If you are selected, you will be notified by email within a reasonable time period from the time of your query (please do not send repetitive emails).
WOMB guidelines {all must be followed to be fair to every applicant}:
1. You must be a Woman who owns her own business (sorry fellows, this one is for the gals only).
2. You must have an active business website, i.e., "coming soon, under construction, etc." sites are not eligible.
3. There is no limit to the type of businesses which can apply, but a mission must exist. If you don't know what I mean by this, you don't have a mission.
4. Your business can be a start-up, small, mid, or large size one; not-for-profit is fine, too.
5. You and your company can be anywhere in the world, but all communications must be done in English via email.
6. If you are new to HWA, please be a flower in our garden by becoming a HWA email subscriber and friend/fan the HWA page on FB. This helps us to cross-promote you.
7. If selected, please be prepared to supply pictures of your product(s), as well as a brief bio and recent picture of yourself, and a company banner or logo. All pictures must be in .jpg format. Not sure how to take a good head shot? Check out this article for tips on how to take a great picture.
8. Upon publication of your featured article on HWA, you agree to provide an active link on your website to the WOMB article featuring you on www.HereWeAreWithLuci.com.
9. LUCIMAC Productions {the parent company of Here We Are with Luci} reserves the right of selection, inclusion, exclusion to the WOMB featured article and its derivatives. We reserve the right to decline featuring a company for any reason.
10. If you are selected, all deadlines will be clearly outlined and must be met by you. Failure to meet a deadline will eliminate you from participation. It is only fair to all involved. LUCIMAC is not responsible for unopened or undelivered emails.
11. This is not a raffle or contest. No purchase is necessary. While participation is free to you, we test every product that is featured on Here We Are. If you own a product-based business and are under consideration for WOMB, then please be prepared to supply product for testing. We do NOT accept payment for reviews. We adhere to the FTC requirement of full disclosure regarding all products mentioned or reviewed in the WOMB feature have been provided for testing. If you offer a service, we will interact with you and request references, testimonials, etc.
12. LUCIMAC is not obligated by contract or agreement to offer this featured article, we reserve the right to retract this feature at any time without notice.
